You may have missed the Black Lips earlier this week when they tore through The Bowery Ballroom and Music Hall of Williamsburg on a tour promoting their new record, 200 Million Thousound (Vice), but that doesn’t mean you’ve missed all their antics. Earlier this year, the Black Lips decided to embark on a tour of India because “it is psychedelic as fuck” (their words, not ours). What they produced is a four-segment VBS special that was cut short because guitarist-vocalist Cole Alexander chose to flash his man stink, which is frowned upon in that part of the world. Watch as they attempt to win over this foreign democracy without landing in the clink. Part one of the four-part series is below.
