Ceremony Plays the Late Show on Monday Night

April 20th, 2012

Ceremony, a five-piece formed in the San Francisco Bay Area in 2005, specializes in loud, raw hardcore. Their first LP, Violence Violence, contained fast, aggressive bursts of music stretched over 13 songs and 13 minutes. The album earned the band comparisons to Suicidal Tendencies and the Dillinger Escape Plan and allowed them to tour the world—and to continue to make music, which brings us to the well-received (and recently released) Zoo. Watch Ceremony play “Hysteria,” above, and then go see them play the late show on Monday night at Mercury Lounge.
