A Place to Bury Strangers Play The Bowery Ballroom

November 16th, 2012

The Brooklyn noise-rock group A Place to Bury Strangers—singer-guitarist Oliver Ackermann (who also designs and manufactures guitar-effects pedals for Death by Audio), drummer Robi Gonzalez and bassist Dion Lunadon—play a loud mix of atmospheric psychedelic rock and shoegaze. And they’ve recently moved in a less-distorted, darker direction with the release of their third album, Worship. See what it’s all about when A Place to Bury Strangers (above, doing “Revenge” for Stereospectacular) play The Bowery Ballroom on Sunday night.
