The Sweater Songs Play the Music of Weezer Tomorrow Night

August 21st, 2013

New York City musicians Robert Cooper, Wes Hutchinson, Dan Logan, Gunner Olsen and Oscar Albis Rodriguez have been making original music for close to a decade. But individually and collectively they have a soft spot for the music of the much beloved Weezer. Originally they began playing some Weezer tunes during their shows just to mix up things. But it took off and now, as the Sweater Songs, they do entire shows playing material from Blue Album, Pinkerton and more. Bottom line: It’s a whole lot of fun, which you can see for yourself when the Sweater Songs (above, covering “Buddy Holly”) play The Bowery Ballroom tomorrow night.
