HARD Summer Tour Ends at Terminal 5 on Saturday

August 17th, 2011

When Destructo brings one of his HARD tours to town, you know it’s gonna be a party—and this time is no different. HARD Summer Tour has been making its way across the country and is closing out in grand style on Saturday at Terminal 5. But Destructo doesn’t go it alone. No, the DJ will be joined by the likes of the electro-rock Digitalism (above, doing “Pogo”), the six-man Switch and DJ team Designer Drugs. And if you know what’s good for you, you’ll be there, too.

But despite residing in the suburbs, this music superstar is no less outspoken. And with the release of her third disc, Maya, M.I.A. (above, playing “Born Free” on Late Show with David Letterman) makes her only scheduled U.S. appearance this Saturday at the South Island Field at Governors Island. As part of the HardNYC event, Die Antwoord, Skream, Benga, Rye Rye, Sleigh Bells, Theophilus London, Borgore, Destructo, 12th Planet, Nguzunguzu and Ninjasonik will also be performing.
