Ferry Information for Tonight’s Passion Pit Show on Governors Island

Beginning at 5 p.m., all ferries for tonight’s Passion Pit show on Governors Island will depart regularly from lower Manhattan at the north end of the Battery Maritime Building at 10 South Street, which is easily accessible from the 1, 2/3, J/Z, R/W and A/C subway lines.

Returning ferries from Governors Island will run about every 20 minutes all evening long. Please note that returning ferries may stop at either the Battery Maritime Building or just a few hundred yards north at Pier 11 (Wall Street and South Street), which is also accessible from the 1, 2/3, J/Z, R/W and A/C subway lines.

Local Natives come to town for sold-out shows on Thursday and Friday at The Bowery Ballroom (although tickets remain to see them on 8/7 on Governors Island). But even if you got shut out, you’ll still have a chance to see Local Natives on Friday because The House List is giving away two tickets. Want to Grow a Pair? HardNYC Lineup Set for Governors Island

HardNYC’s all-star lineup is set for M.I.A.’s show at Governors Island on July 24th. Rounding out the day will be Die Antwoord, Skream, Benga, Rye Rye, Sleigh Bells, Theophilus London, Borgore, Destructo, 12th Planet, Nguzunguzu and Ninjasonik. You won’t want to miss this full day of music and fun!

Going to an outdoor concert in NYC in the summer is pretty cool. And this year, you can check out music in a new environment because Governors Island is no longer just reserved for bike rides and picnics. So head to the South Island Field at Governors Island on Saturday, July 24th for a full night of music beneath the stars. You’ll have the chance to see M.I.A., Sleigh Bells, 12th Planet, Destructo, Nguzunguzu, Borgore and a host of others as part of another great HARDNYC event.
