August 29th, 2012

Armed with a new album, the aptly titled Major, Brooklyn trio (by way of Providence, R.I.) Fang Island—guitarist-vocalist Jason Bartell, guitarist Chris Georges and drummer Marc St. Sauveur—set out on a cross-country tour in July. The first show was at The Bowery Ballroom, and now more than a month later, Fang Island (above, playing a session for Audiotree Live) bring warm harmonies and riff-heavy, energetic guitar rock home to close out their tour in style at Music Hall of Williamsburg tomorrow. So kick off your three-day weekend watching a small band with a big sound.
