A Musical Party on Saturday at Music Hall of Williamsburg

July 12th, 2012

For more than 15 years, Ozomatli has been mashing together East L.A. R&B and New Orleans second line (read: hip-hop, salsa, dancehall, funk, rock and merengue) to bring a musical party to the people all while spreading “its message of peace, communication and understanding through music.” While the seven-piece band, which features a wide range of instruments, has put out five quality albums—including 2010’s Fire Away—make no mistake, the best way to experience Ozomatli (above, playing “Dos Cosas Ciertas”) is live, which you can do on Saturday night at Music Hall of Williamsburg.
