Rock Out with Jane’s Addiction on Saturday Night

December 27th, 2012

Jane’s Addiction formed back in the mid-’80s following the breakup of frontman Perry Farrell’s previous band. The L.A. group broke through to the mainstream with the release of their second album, 1990’s Ritual de lo Habitual. Thanks in part to smash hit “Been Caught Stealing,” the band received more exposure than they ever had, but behind the scenes, things were falling apart, and Jane’s Addiction (above, playing “Jane Says”) ultimately broke up in 1991. Since then the four-piece—longtime members Dave Navarro (guitar) and Stephen Perkins (drums), plus Chris Chaney (bass), alongside Farrell—has reunited several times, even putting out a new album, The Great Escape Artist, last year. Now they bring their high-octane rock and roll show to Terminal 5 on Saturday night. And as an added bonus, TAB the Band opens the show.
