Don’t Miss the NBHD Tomorrow Night at Terminal 5

October 2nd, 2015

Jesse Rutherford (vocals), Jeremy Freedman (guitar), Zach Abels (guitar), Mikey Margott (bass) and Brandon Fried (drums) formed the genre-hopping band the Neighbourhood—or just the NBHD—four years ago in Los Angeles. Their breakout debut full-length, the slow-burning, atmospheric I Love You (stream it below), filled with rock and bits of hip-hop and R&B, arrived in 2013. Rolling Stone called it a “spacey debut” and proclaimed, “The Neighbourhood reach for the stratosphere on I Love You.” The NBHD’s highly anticipated second LP, Wiped Out!, is due out later this month. But the engaging live band (above, performing “How” for Live on Letterman) is already out on the road with a tour in full swing. Tonight’s show at Terminal 5 is sold out, but you can still catch the L.A. five-piece there tomorrow night. Bad Suns and Hunny open the show.
